I have been thinking today. How did the human race progress so far when we are all idiots? Let’s start with the car, why make something so technical that not a single person on this planet knows how to fix it? Lights seem to come up on the dashboard at random intervals for no apparent reason, apart from getting you into the nearest garage, to pay them some money, just to turn the light off. Senseless.

I’ll tell you what, let’s work our fingers to the bone for bugger all money, save up and buy a house, (fat chance), get a car that nobody understands, fill it with rapidly depleting oil reserves, fill the atmosphere with petrol and diesel fumes, run our central heating in our homes when we don’t need it, leave all the lights on when we aren’t using them to burn more fuel and pollute a bit more just for the hell of it. Oh and let’s leave the street lamps on all night long, seeing as we are not using enough energy whilst we sleep with everything switched on standby.

Let’s sit outside in the evening with our patio heaters on full blast and gas barbecue’s blazing and cook meat that has been farmed abroad where they have had to cut down thousands of square miles of natural habitat which belongs to more intelligent life forms, their only mistake is they cannot speak English and don’t complain. A fat lot of use complaining would do them anyway, can’t argue with the big fat rich bastards, they rule the world with a cheque book and gold plated pen and a greedy smile.

Who in their right mind would invent the GUN? People are sick in the head, we have to be. What’s worse is the fact that we have all got used to seeing people getting slaughtered. Is this really progress? All through history the slaughter of innocent people has led to glorious victory. To impress an idea and an apparent ‘better way of life’ on a different culture. How dare we? Is our sick way of life any better?

I get excited when I read about space. The first manned lunar base is planned for the year 2020. Scientists are working on the mapping of the moon down to a meter squared. (On account of the last landing nearly ending in disaster because of an unexpected boulder field almost ripping through the landing craft). If this does happen, what are we going to do with the moon? If you have read through anything I have written in this article, (and I have only just scratched the surface regarding how irresponsible us humans are), then I think the answer is obvious. I do want the human race to progress throughout our solar system (as small as it is), but I am also afraid. I am afraid that we will spoil everything that we come in contact with, because there will be a buck to be made somewhere along the line, and the cycle of destruction will continue and spread.

The problem is that people think they are clever. Clever people aren’t really clever at all; it’s just that there are more stupid people than there are less stupid. Anyone can be baffled with mega mathematics, string theories and quantum mechanics etc. etc. But to me it is a load of bollocks. Read what you like and learn what you like. It is only entertainment and fun. However, do not take your eye off of the ball for too long. We are all being used by the lesser stupid people. They are feeding us what we think we want to hear, giving us false things to worry and concern us. Maybe we aren’t as stupid as they think. Step outside your brain as you know it and read between the lines and listen to the things that aren’t being said.
