We personally went down to Airkix to check it out and inform you of what goes on down there and what it's like. If you want to book for more than a two minute flight prices will vary. Airkix  Airkix is a proven concept designed for the benefit of skydivers or anyone else who wishes to experience the thrill of a simulated freefall. Don't worry about small matters such as falling or hitting the fans - it won't happen. An instructor who is trained to stand in the chamber will be present to ensure the simulation goes smoothly and will be there to guide and let you know if there are any changes you need to make. You'll most likely share the chamber with others and will be flying for 2 minutes which is divided into 2 flights of a minute each.
 On the day Make sure you're there on the time agreed coz the chances are you'll not be able to fly. There'll be a short video briefing and demonstration of the flying position you'll need to be in and once you're prepped it's off to change. Dress casually but bring tight laced trainers and no shirts because of the collars. You will be supplied with a uniform that fits over your clothes, helmet, goggles and knee and elbow pads. Inside the chamber it's loud but you will be provided with earplugs which you can choose to wear if you wish. Without earplugs it's a more realistic experience. You'll have to empty your pockets so you don't lose anything in the chamber. There's changing rooms and lockers if you need them. After changing me and the others who attended headed up to the chamber. We took turns having a minute each inside. When you're floating and you're still it feels good but it seems almost impossible especially on your first time to keep perfectly still (although it was funny watching people lose balance). Everyone took their turn and applauded the person who had finished. Once it had come full circle we all went back in again for another minute. The instructor was very professional even showing us his skills at the end of the flight, which was amazing. So rest assured if you do decide to go, you will be in very safe hands. We got a certificate each which lets you know how well you've done. You have the option of being able to purchase a DVD and high quality digital photos of your flight while you're there or online at home.  Can you fly Anyone in reasonable health and fitness can fly but if you weigh more than 18 stone there could be a problem. And as long as you are not under 5 years of age (unless you can fit into a helmet) or pregnant. haven't suffered from a dislocated shoulder (if you have your advised to get a doctors opinion which is the case if you have a history of back or neck problems or a heart condition), aren't under the influences of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs, not wearing a hard cast and have signed a statement of risk document. Airkix will try to cater for anyone, even the disabled and It's OK if you wear glasses because they will supply goggles to fit over them.  Airkix would be great for groups like - parties etc
There are ten basic levels Airkix use to monitor initial proficiency. If you become a pro-flyer the perks of regularity get better and better.
